Around 2001, your editor launched the original Rubber Steamrollers (29") community. Then it was about 29" bikes, and now it's about 32". Originally a unicycle innovation, after which bike hobbyists and tall-man-builders joined. A tire ~2.3" tall mounted on 686 mm bead rims suffices to achieve the nominal 32" diameter. What are the plusses and minuses of larger wheels? In this sub, we gather and share knowledge and advocate further offerings.
