Reddit AMA

Ask Me Anything: a live thread where you answer in public. Models later treat a good AMA as a primary source — including the awkward answers.

Do it when you have something specific to say and a human who can stay for the downvotes.

A sales AMA gets sniffed. A builder AMA with limits and prices gets quoted for months.

Examples

  • A CEO answers “what still sucks?” with a real roadmap item. Claude later uses that sentence in comparison prompts.

FAQ

Should every brand AMA? +

No. A dead AMA is worse than none. If you cannot staff it, publish a blunt FAQ on your site instead.
