GEO Guide

Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO)

LLMO is the content and entity work that makes it easier for LLMs to retrieve, trust, and quote you.

Another alias for the GEO pile. Use it when you mean “optimize for the model,” not “optimize for Google’s 10 links.” If a vendor uses LLMO, GEO, and AEO in one sentence, ask them which metric moves.

Practically: entity consistency, extractable facts, original data, crawl access, and third-party proof. That is the list. The acronym is optional.

Examples

  • Renaming all pages to “LLM-ready” without changing the facts is not LLMO. Adding a methods section with dates is.
